I really feel bad when I talk to loved ones in Ohio. They have had another cold and snowy winter. And we have had, for the last couple of weeks, a beautiful season. Yes, we had some frost earlier, we are in central FL,but the days are just perfect to me right now.
I finished the shawl/scarf I was working on 2 weeks ago.I think it is called Traveling Woman. It was a free pattern from Ravelry.
A few words about what is happening with spinning, knitting, weaving, dying, felting and travel in my happy days.

Wow I Did It
That worked pretty good. I hope I can do better with this blog. It really could be a good place for the Spinning Group to get info without emails.

I am still here!!!
Wonder of wonders, I am still around. I have had lots of travel and fun since I last wrote on these pages.
At a spinning meeting last night, I decided a blog that could remind the group and keep in touch with me and each other through comments could be a good thing. I'm not sure how good this spinner will be a writing often, but perhaps once a week to start with might happen.

Done, I think
I think I am done shopping and baking for Christmas. If I can just stay away from the cookies now. Need to do some weaving, can't leave the knitting alone.

I tried.
Ok, I tried to keep it going, but after all it is Christmas time and I am not the kind to get things done when I should. I spent a lot of time knitting a mobius scarf that turned out to be garbage. A lot of my cookies should have gone to the garbage and that is being kind to me. Things just are not coming out like I would like them. We are shopping tomorrow and I hope to finish everything so I don't have to think about it anymore. To many things to think about.

Finished the sock
I finished the second sock last night. The striping doesn't match, but they only took one ball. They were knitted from the new book by Cat Bordhi. I really like the method. Look it up on You Tube. Great videos.
