Done, I think

I think I am done shopping and baking for Christmas.  If I can just stay away from the cookies now.  Need to do some weaving, can't leave the knitting alone.

I tried.

Ok, I tried to keep it going, but after all it is Christmas time and I am not the kind to get things done when I should.  I spent a lot of time knitting a mobius scarf that turned out to be garbage.  A lot of my cookies should have gone to the garbage and that is being kind to me.  Things just are not coming out like I would like them. We are shopping tomorrow and I hope to finish everything so I don't have to think about it anymore.  To many things to think about.

Finished the sock

I finished the second sock last night. The striping doesn't match, but they only took one ball.   They were knitted from the new book by Cat Bordhi.  I really like the method.  Look it up on You Tube.  Great videos.

Try again, and again

I had this all written once. About how I was going to try again to blog regularly. It was because of a workshop at a convention in Las Vegas. The lady was using Twitter and Facebook and a blog to keep in touch with a lot of people. Sounded good and so I will again attempt to be a good girl and take lots of pictures and learn how to put them on a blog.

By the way the reason why I lost the first posting was because I was trying to add a picture. There might be one on here. We stayed at Paris in Las Vegas.

I am still here.

Greeting from finely warm central Florida. Even though it hasn't been as warm here as I would like, I will grant that it is mostly sunny. That is what is missing in cold and mostly dreary NE Ohio. Just not enough sun.
Our knitting and crochet group will meet in the clubhouse tomorrow because they are having an AARP driving class in the activities room. We have some real talented people showing up for the once a week meeting.
I have been working on the February Lady sweater. It is taking more yarn than I thought. The sleeves will be much shorter than I wanted. I'll post a picture soon. Tomorrow I will probably take the wheel or some socks that need finished.
